Water Coolers

Madison Tripp

It has been recommended for a long time now that depending on environmental factors and physical activity, people should drink at least six to eight (8 oz) glasses of water per day. In light of this fact, and our society’s effort to live healthier lifestyles, water coolers have become a common fixture in many households.

Having a home water cooler entices us to drink water first, since it is ‘right there’ and just takes a flip of the dispenser switch to get cool, clean water. Kids especially love being able to get a drink on their own, and can do so without having to open the refrigerator!

Water cooler dispensers come in a variety of sizes from countertop water coolers to free-standing, sleek stainless steel water coolers, which have taps for cold water, hot water, room temperature water, or all three.Bottled water coolers can be purchased or rented monthly from some water cooler suppliers. There are many energy saving water coolers on the market, so be sure to check that the one you get is energy efficient.

The most common cold water cooler is the 5 gallon water cooler; and to avoid having to lug 5 gallon jugs home from the store, many people choose the convenience of home bottled water delivery. For those individuals who do not have the room to store water bottles, or if you do not have the ability to accept water deliveries a bottleless water cooler might be the solution for you.
